Membership – Join or Renew

Joining the Olympia Weavers Guild means you are joining a vibrant and active community of fiber artists. If you are a seasoned weaver/spinner/dyer or interested in learning, the Olympia Weavers Guild is here for you.

The benefits of joining also include:

  • An email subscription to the monthly OWG newsletter
  • Inclusion in our OWG Yearbook
  • Lending privileges to OWG’s extensive library of books
  • Lending privileges of OWG’s equipment
  • Study groups where you can learn with others about an area of interest
  • Access to workshops and mini-workshops
  • Access to submit and sell items at the OWG’s annual Show and Sale

How to get started to either join or renew

There are four membership levels which are:

  1. Single Membership – $40
  2. Household Membership – $55
  3. Student Membership – $30
  4. Prorated Membership – $25

Fill out the Membership form by clicking on the blue button below. When completed, save this form to your computer and then click on the purple button and fill out the *Membership Introduction form. Save this form. Then move down to the payment section after the yellow highlight box.

Dues can now be paid by cash, check or online. The Guild is using PayPal to process online payments. You can pay online with a credit/debit card, a Venmo account, or a PayPal account. You do not need to have a PayPal account to pay online.

To pay with cash:

  1. Complete the Membership and the Membership Introduction* forms online and print or print the blank form and complete manually (please be sure it is legible to avoid any errors on our part).
  2. Save the forms to your computer
  3. Email forms to Marise Person (OWGMembership@gmail.com) or bring completed form and cash to a meeting before the deadline

To pay with a check:

  1. Complete the Membership and the Membership Introduction* forms online or print the form and complete manually (please be sure it is legible to avoid any errors on our part).
  2. Mail both forms and a check to: Marise Person, OWG Membership Chair, 801 South St. SE, Tumwater, WA 98501
  3. Or, bring completed forms and check to a guild meeting and give to Marise Person, OWG Membership Chair

To pay with credit card, Venmo, or PayPal:

  1. Complete the Membership and the Membership Introduction* forms online
  2. Save the forms to your computer before payment is made
  3. To pay your dues, click on the Membership option you chose below. You will then be given the option of paying with a credit/debit card, Venmoe, or PayPal (refer to the PayPal Tips button at the bottom of this page for more information)
  4. Email forms to Marise Person (owgmembership@gmail.com)
  5. To make a donation to the Guild, click on the Donate button below the membership options
