“Madrona” to be Replaced with “Red Alder” in 2020.

Madrona Fiber Arts
Winter Retreat
February 14-17, 2019
Dear Madrona Friends,

We have exciting news! The Pacific Northwest will continue to be home to a premier fiber arts retreat during February of each year!

As you know, Cornie and I made the emotional decision that 2019 will be the final Madrona and we set about planning our celebration of 20 years of Madrona.

We are excited to let you know that John Mullarkey and Becky Edwards have created a new event that will continue in the tradition of Madrona. John and Becky have experience working together running events as well as a love of fiber arts and appreciation for the communities created through these events.

You may know that John Mullarkey is very familiar with Madrona as he has taught at Madrona for a number of years and understands the importance of creating and nurturing a community.

The new event will be called the Red Alder Fiber Arts Retreat. Red Alder will debut February 13-16, 2020 at the Hotel Murano in Tacoma, Washington. To receive information about this event, go to www.redalderfiberarts.com and join their mailing list and community. You can also contact John and Becky by email at info@redalderfiberarts.com

We hope you will join us in welcoming and supporting this new event!
